Marspec Technical Products has served industry on the Gulf Coast since 1923. We started out supplying maritime goods to vessels at the Port of Mobile. Over the century since, we’ve grown into a full source for the steam cycle, corrosive fluid handling, and flow control. Valves for Corrosive, Toxic & High-Purity Service
We represent some of the best-known valve manufacturers in the industry, including Atomac, Durco, Flow-Tek, ITT Engineered Valves, OCV, Belgas, and Therm-Omega-Tech. Our valve lines cover plastic lined ball, plug, butterfly, and diaphragm valves, multi-port and control ball valves, knife gate valves, pressure regulators, and specialized control valves for water, cooling tower, and fire protection service.
Valve Automation & Controls
Marspec opened the central Gulf Coast’s first valve automation facility in 1982 and has assembled and shipped thousands of automated valve packages since. We specialize in quick delivery of automated quarter-turn valves. Every package is built with the actuators, limit switches, positioners, and solenoid valves your application calls for, plus custom stainless steel mounting hardware. Each assembly is operationally and pressure tested before it leaves our shop in Spanish Fort, Alabama.

Steam System Products & Steam Trap Surveys
Steam is expensive to make and easy to waste. Marspec supplies mechanical, thermostatic, and thermodynamic steam traps, TLV steam pressure regulators and condensate check valves, low-profile thermal insulation for pipe and fittings, and other equipment that helps your steam system run efficiently.
We also perform steam trap surveys using TLV TrapMan® testing equipment. We set up a custom database in TrapManager® software, plan survey routes, test each safely accessible trap, and install a stainless steel ID tag at every location. You get a detailed report with recommendations, and we offer post-survey training and auditing.

Compressed Air & Gas Leak Surveys
Leaks in compressed air and gas systems are often invisible but cost money every hour. Our leak surveys identify and quantify leaks, estimate what each one is costing you, and tag every location both physically and digitally so your maintenance team can fix the worst ones first. A complete report follows every survey.
Plastic Lined Pipe & Corrosion-Resistant Equipment
For about fifty years, Marspec has been a go-to source for corrosion-resistant pipe, fittings, and specialty items. We stock a full inventory of plastic lined fittings up to 12″ and fabricate custom plastic lined pipe spools in our Spanish Fort shop. Liners include PTFE, PVDF, and polypropylene, in carbon steel or stainless steel casing, with carbon steel, ductile iron, or stainless flanges. All our spools have rotating flanges for easier installation. We also provide lined pipe isometric drawing takeoff services.
Our corrosion-resistant lines also include Fibergrate fiberglass grating and structural shapes, Micromold solid PTFE pipe and machined parts, and Drake Specialties flange and valve safety shields.

Pump Skids & Specialty Equipment
Marspec builds non-electric pump skids using TLV components and ASME U-stamped pressure vessels. They come in compact single, double, and triple pump designs with fast turnaround. We also supply carefully selected specialty equipment, including BriskHeat electric heat tracing and heating blankets, AMETEK US Gauge pressure gauges and thermometers, cooling towers, and water filtration skids. Each product comes with help on selection, sizing, and application review.
