Zeemax compounds are easy to use. For example, Zeemax doesn’t require metal channels and high tension banding on tape form compounds. This saves expensive labor during installation and, in some cases, allows the designer to use smaller sized rigid insulation since the pipe/tracer package has a smaller OD.
Zeemax compounds have excellent heat transfer characteristics. The exclusive MicroFine graphite technology allows Zeemax to produce compounds with heat transfer coefficients (U values) as great as 56 BTU/hr-°F-ft2. Of course, the quality of the installation has a bearing on this but remember Zeemax products are user-friendly.
