Marspec Technical Products provides a wide range of custom services to help clients reduce the cost of producing goods or delivering services:
- Energy Efficiency Studies- Uncovers quantifiable opportunities to improve profitability and reduce carbon emissions through waste heat recovery projects, process changes and equipment modernization. Studies are conducted by Marspec's AEE-Certified Energy Managers®.
- Steam Trap Surveys- Detailed surveys of facility steam traps. Report includes failures and quantification of current steam energy losses.
- Compressed Air Leak Surveys- Specially trained technicians detect inaudible compressed air leaks that can cost thousands of dollars. Report includes leak locations, quantification and cost of losses.
- Boiler Efficiency Studies- Detailed analysis of boiler operating efficiency. Can include projection of fuel savings with the use of high efficiency gas boiler technology.
- Insulation Effectiveness Studies- Analysis of current insulation and projected savings possible with optimal insulation. Specialized techniques and software provide detailed reports.
With Marspec’s help, companies all over the Southeast have been able to find opportunities to reduce natural gas usage through heat recovery, heat retention or upgraded steam production centers. For example, one client in the textiles sector discovered a heat loss with a value of over $1.5 million. The investment required to recover this loss: Less than $500,000.
